Lexus GS-F Artist’s Impression

Lexus GS-F

The first in the new Lexus F brand was the Lexus IS-F that many expected to be a competitor to the BMW M3, but the end results was quite different. Even though blessed with hardcore, perhaps even borderlining on ricey looks, what the car was made of was suited more to a fast luxury cruiser instead of a track monster.

The next car in the Lexus F line-up will be the Lexus GS-F (artist’s impression above by Theophilus Chin), supposed to be aimed square at the BMW M5. The GS-F will most likely be powered by the V10 that’s supposed to be slotted into the Lexus LF-H supercar, making over 500 horsepower.

Since Lexus also seems to love one-upping it’s competitors on numbers, perhaps a tweaked up and modernized version of the 1GZ-FE (1GZ-DE?) will be offered. The 1GZ-FE was a 5.0 litre V12 offered in Toyota luxury cars like the Toyota Century.

While power figures on paper might defeat the M5, but that’s not all it takes to win the hearts of enthusiasts.

Their V10 unit figures are impressive, but that GS-F won't be going anywhere in a hurry with a butt like that. Looks fat and lumpy.

The GS is quite nice looking in metal. Pictures don't do it justice.

Butt size doesn't equal slow. Lexus' designs gets better over the decade. Next cycle change should see it be there with the best designs.

Yeah, I know. I've seen the GS in the flesh. Although great looking, it doesn't seem to be the athlete the IS is. The most likely to be a super sedan would probably be the IS-F.

The best way to restructure my sentence would be, "The GS is more fat and lumpy than the IS"

I think they shd trim the backside a little. M5 looks both atheletic and executive at the same time. This one, well, it looks bottom heavy. Shed the weight, Toyota!!!!

lexus, and infinity, the two kids trying to play men's game.

indeed, they are not that short in size, still, not tall enough to be call a man.

dressed in khaki pants and nice shirts, but men these days all wear suits. tailor made suits.

while lexus and infinity still go the Levis,ADIDAS, Hush Puppies, playboy boutiques, these men prefer Gucci, TaylorMade, Stella, Prada.

    goodluck kids!

its got that low slung cruiser look.. i'm thinking this would be popular with the bling bling crowd. black, slammed, 100% tint, chrome 22" wheels, lexus logo with rhinestones(yes, you can buy that) and you have your ultimate pimp mobile to cruise the streets with.

although lexus always seems to think they're competing with bmw, i think their overall direction always comes out slightly different. but they still have their own market thats for sure.

What the -F??? Another beautiful car has been ruined by Lexus' -F-ing division by adding body modifications that makes the car look cheap. I doubt that the IS-F or the GS-F will be better to drive than the M3 or the M5 respectively. Lexus are more luxury tourers than driving machines.

It's not an official pic, just an artists impression. Don't like the design, but good work with photoshop, TheophilusChin.

Dear Mr Theo CHIN and Mr Paul TAN:

Is it possible to convert a Nissan Grand Livina 1.8 to make it look alike MURANO, or at least QASHQAI/Dualis or Rogue?

I don’t have this expertise. Few thing maybe worth to change:

    1. Door Mirror from small to Z350/Sylphy or Murano/Qashqai
    2. Odd looking bumper (F) to more macho maybe within own Nissan’s cars
    3. Perhaps, new headlights or even rear one
    4. New better looking grille

    Thank you for your effort.
