In Malaysia, the current AH40 model has been on sale since 2023, while used choices in this range are mainly AH30-generation cars, including the 2018 facelift. New prices sit at RM448,000 for the 2.5 and RM549,900 for the Hybrid Electric Executive Lounge, so used examples appeal to buyers looking for the same upmarket MPV format at a much lower entry point.

Current used listings are limited, with six cars available from 2015 to 2019, priced between RM111,800 and RM156,800. Mileages range from 58,197 km to 88,212 km. The Vellfire has a broad Malaysian footprint, with 96,109 registrations since 2008, and three-year value retention is listed at 64.8%. When shopping, compare year, facelift status, mileage and asking price carefully, as the spread between examples is not especially wide.

Nearly every used Vellfire in Malaysia is a Japanese recond import, so you’ll be shopping the JDM grade ladder rather than a local variant list — and the engine choice matters as much as the trim.
