MINI Countryman ‘Life Is Out There’ Promo

MINI Countryman

MINI has wasted no time in quickly churning out a promo video for the new MINI Countryman – BMW MINI’s first four door. As usual it shows the Countryman as the center of an ‘active lifestyle’, trying to burn it into your heads that you won’t have a happening enough social life unless you have a now-not-so-mini MINI.

Watch the video after the jump.

Wow, I dont know what to say – MINI had a cute appeal to me, but this Countryman is something else altogether! It doesnt even look like a MINI anymore!

I resent BMW nowadays for creating micro niches that really shouldnt exist and now this abomination. Nowadays one can recognize all BMWs as part of the same family not due to the kidney grille or Hoifmeisterdonkervoortfuhrer whatever kink but because theyre all so ugly.

Man, trust BMW to do something like this. Revolting.

Lost count of the endless versions of Bimmers now anyway – overstyled and over hyped. None are likely to ever be called classics.

Seriously, BMW has forgetten about the purpose of "MINI"

From MINI to Countryman… why still keep the look of MINI?

MINI is mean for cute, and Countryman cannot be Cute at any point of view..

Wah droll, what a word you use to describe the new Countryman – bastardized? But I agree 101% with you, the appeal is no longer there!

I think the car is actually quite cool.

BMW have tried to retain a lot of the current Mini’s characteristics, and actually, it’s not that much bigger than the one they’re producing at the moment, so ezmil75, you can’t really call it a midi!

If you look back to the original mini of 1960-1970, Austin were producing a car called the Mini Countryman which was a Mini Estate with the wooden exterior, not dissimilar to the Morris Traveller of the same time.

You guys really should take a look at one before you start slating it.
