Interested in driving home a BMW 323i? Well this is the best time do it as Auto Bavaria Sg. Besi will be off-loading very limited units of pre-registered 323i models at very attractive prices. All you need to do is to head to the dealership this weekend (Saturday or Sunday) where more details will be shared by the sales advisors :)
Just to recap, the E90 BMW 323i is powered by a magnesium-alloy N52 6-cylinder 2.5 litre engine, which is a detuned version of the one found in the 325i Sports. It makes 190 hp and 230 Nm of torque. This CKD model also comes with BMW’s iDrive system with an 8.8 inch high resolution LCD screen, paddle shifters and more. For more information, you can give the showroom a ring at 03-9223 3200.
getting my cheque book ready for booking………..
well in 2 months time ur car will look 5 yrs older
did you know what is the F30 price? :) expect same as E90? check foreign website to check the price differences..
the starting price should be same as C200 at RM250K, this CBU easily over RM300K.
if you have the $$ of course u wait the new f30 la..
Pre-registered means 2nd Hand with very low mileage? Pre-owned means 2nd hand with higher than Pre-registered mileage? Basically a 2nd Hand 323i am i absolutely correct?
in BMW Malaysia lingo, pre-registered are demo cars, and pre-owned are second hand cars from individual buyers… both second hand as in you will not be the first owner and you cannot transfer your fancy number plate onto these cars…
It’s an outgoing model, making way for the F30. Probably right after signing above the dotted line, 100k down the drain.
If below RM200K marks…then I would CONSIDER buying one…
yeah, that’s wat i am afraid of. better to wait for AP models, afterall, beemers r built very good, can withstand harsh driving, so it is still ok to buy AP unit. i drive one, so i know, oledi clocked 311k this wk, apart fom regular wear n tear, nothing serious to fix. so for the time being, i can’t n wun support local beemer dealers… until such a time beemers r sold at realistic prices.
Agree…dont be fooled by this offer
just a marketing gimmick to phase out the old E90 so that when the F30 arrives here, there wont be a lot of leftover stocks of the E90.
clearance stock for E90
and here we come the F30
15-20% depreciation for secondhand/pre-registered continental cars in Malaysia follow by a further 20% depreciation for any new model launches.
If you’re not getting at least 40% off, it’s not a good deal.
i have been informed by one of friend about this. i would say that attractive but not impresive
i’ve driven both cars. the new 3-series. and the old one..
i have to say, the new one, isnt as good as what ppl seem to think it is..
its more powerful, more economical. yes
but the handling department seem to have faded? a little..
interior space seem the same, no measuring tape though.
but what i can summarise here is if:
– if you buy a car, you usually keep it for say 5-9 years.
— i think its probably worth getting it. as the second hand value drops quickly after the first 1-4 years of ownership.
if you buy a car, and keeps only for 1-4 years.
— i think you should wait for the new one coming in May.
I think something wrong with you…quoted “i have to say, the new one, isnt as good as what ppl seem to think it is..”….BMW invested Million $$$ to improve the tech, engine, handling and etc etc….i think you are proton kaki…
BMW Malaysia already put up teaser image for upcoming F30 3-series in their Facebook page. Probably this is clear stock move by BMW :)
You don’t say?
2.5L only produce 190hp is kinda low.
Its detuned for market segmentation purposes.
But a simple remap and you will see >200 hp quite easily.
The lowest HP modern 2.5liter i think is the 2.5liter in Mazda6.
Those produces less than 180hp. But then you can argue its 6cyl vs 4cyl.
Yet some 2.0 liter 4 cyl can produce 200++hp in Honda S2000. So the key to an engine is not just HP, but torque spread, drivability, refinement and lots more.
There are more to a car than 0-100, HP, 1/4 mile and more.
I heard we aint’ getting anymore 6 potters from F30… so any 6pot diehard fans this is the one u wanna get and keep it for 10 years, like what i did to my 6pot e36!
only if it sell at 120k..why? coz yeh as wat “RON97” says..in 2 month it’ll look not 5 infact 7 year old car….
better buy vios TRD!
vios TRD never depreciates!
Tokkok la u, everything appreciates EXCEPT land, gold and KL houses (but till market crash only)….
sorry, depreciates…
Last of the kind for inline 6.
And the new 3 series doesnt look very different from the old one.
Its not like between E46 and E90.
If you think a BMW is not a BMW without the Inline6, then this is your last chance to get a “brand new” warrantied BSRI’ed 3 series. Unless you have so much money you can get a 335i F30.
Lols, if you belong in the group THTS so AFRAID of depreciation, this is DEFINATELY not the car or wait, don’t even bother looking ANY European cars.. Just stick to japs, Korean n Malaysian.
Looks like there’s a lot of pros in here tht is COMPARING a VIOS TRD to a 323? Haha have u even owned a continental before making the statement? I think TRD VIOS is the biggest con charging u 15-20k more for those plasticky thing they call TRD parts. If I ever buy a vios, it would be a non TRD nonsense one
New F30 cbu unit cheapest is a 320D BASE model @260-270k. If u get a promo 323 at even 220k, its already a steal! If budget permits, get the f30 n hopefully u’ll get your ckds by nov. If not, a full spec e90 msport 320,320D,325 would be your best bang for the buck @this point.
323 during 2010 was priced at 275k mind u.. Do the math, got cash n time? Take the 270k 320d or 320 turbo. Or save at least 50-60 k for a full SPEC e90 which is not too far off from looks. Cheers
That TRD fella is a small kid la.
Just ignore him my friend.
That day i saw this forum in ZTH. Some small kid posting about the maintenance of nissan GTR chipped and modded to 800hp.
After all, we are all just a bunch of kids ( grownup or not ) that are mesmerized by the sight and sound of beautiful cars.
Everyone “knows” how to budget for the installment. However very few knows how to budget for the MAINTAINANCE. IMHO
last chance to own the sweet NA inline six! I’d have seriously considered it if i had the cash, especially if the discount is huge (at least 50k less?)
T4 engine, with powershift….yum! Would be a good alternative to the boring Jettas we see everyday. Hopefully the pricing is competitive!
How much is it after discount?
