Just a few more days until the paultan.org Auto Car Expo (ACE) 2024 – co-sponsored by Carro and Time Energy’s Emit Solar – happens this weekend, October 26 and 27 at the Setia City Convention Centre (SCCC). Of course, you’ll be able to enjoy several enticing year-end deals for new cars at the event, but there’s something for you even if you’re happy with your current car and simply want to spruce it up.
That’s because co-sponsor Carro is offering a 30% discount on its Carro Care full car respray service exclusive to this event. That means if you own a small hatchback such as a Perodua Myvi, Proton Iriz or Kia Picanto, you can have it completely done up for only RM2,100, down from the usual price of RM3,000, while a larger sedan like a Proton Saga, Perodua Bezza, Honda City or Toyota Vios can be resprayed for just RM2,240 (down from RM3,200).
For not much more, you can get a C-segment sedan such as a Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, Hyundai Elantra, Mercedes-Benz C-Class or BMW 3 Series repainted for only RM2,380 (down from RM3,400), while a respray for a D-segment sedan like a Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Nissan Teana, Mercedes E-Class or BMW 5 Series is less than RM200 dearer at RM2,520 (down from RM3,800).
For sedans that are even larger, such as a Mercedes S-Class or BMW 7 Series, as well as SUVs and 4x4s up to and including the BMW X3 and Mercedes GLA, a full respray costs just RM2,660 (down from RM3,800). Even for the largest vehicles, including MPVs such as the Toyota Alphard and Vellfire and SUVs like the BMW X5 and X6 and Mercedes GLC, a respray can be had for under RM3,000, at RM2,800 (down from RM4,000).
Even if you do not own one of the cars listed above, the price of the service will be the identical to that of the same size of vehicle. Every respray comes with a 3-year warranty, so you will be protected against any defects throughout the coverage period – simply return the car to the centre it was resprayed at to get it touched up. Speaking of which, Carro operates three body and paint centres, located in Taman Perindustrian Subang in USJ, Ulu Tiram in Johor and Seremban.
Carro joins several participating brands, each with their own attractive deals, including Toyota, Proton, Perodua, BYD, Ford, Volkswagen, Mitsubishi and MG, as well as Pro-Net’s eMas electric sub-brand.
There will also be BMW/MINI (through Auto Bavaria), Mercedes-Benz (through Hap Seng Star) and Volvo (through Sime Darby Swedish Auto and Sisma Auto). Multi-brand dealership EON will represent smart and Audi while Cycle & Carriage will display the Peugeot and Leapmotor brands. You’ll also see two-wheelers represented by BMW Motorrad, while Trapo will showcase its Exosystem range of products.
