Just under a week to go before the paultan.org Auto Car Expo (ACE) 2024 – co-sponsored by Carro – takes place this October 26-27 at the Setia City Convention Centre (SCCC). As always, there’ll be plenty of exceptional year-end promotions and great deals on a wide range of new cars, so you won’t want to miss the show.
BYD will be one of those taking part in the sales exhibition, and its line-up of electric vehicle models at ACE will include the just-launched M6 electric MPV. You’ll be able to explore both the M6 Standard, which goes for RM109,800, and the M6 Extended, which is priced at RM123,800, at the event.
In its Standard form, the M6 is equipped with a 55.4 kWh Blade lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery that provides a NEDC-rated range of 420 km, and a 163 PS and 310 Nm motor allows it to accomplish the 0-100 km/h sprint in 10.1 seconds. If you want more power and range, the Extended is the one to go for – its 71.8 kWh battery provides up to 530 km of travel, while its 204 PS and 310 Nm motor brings the century sprint time down to 8.6 seconds. Either way, the seven-seat M6 is fantastic value.
In addition to BYD, brands that will be at ACE 2024 will include Toyota, Ford, Volkswagen, Mitsubishi and MG as well as smart and eMas brands, the latter two under the care of Pro-Net). You’ll also find two-wheelers from BMW Motorrad, while Trapo will be showcasing its Exosystem range of products.
Other brands that will be present at the show are BMW and MINI (represented by Auto Bavaria), Mercedes-Benz (represented by Hap Seng Star), Volvo (represented by Sime Darby Swedish Auto), smart and Audi (both represented by EON) as well as Peugeot and Leapmotor (represented by Cycle & Carriage).
