The Bentley Bentayga Speed has been updated, which now trades engine cylinder count for more outright power. Smaller engine, but more speed, as it emerges.
The discontinued 6.0 litre W12 engine of its predecessor is succeeded in the marque’s SUV model by the twin-turbo 4.0 litre V8 engine that outputs 650 PS and 850 Nm of torque – in other words, identical output numbers from those of the original Lamborghini Urus – actually yields 50 Nm less torque than the W12 iteration of the Speed, but counters with 15 PS more.
This propels the 2025 Bentayga Speed from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, or 0.5 second quicker than the 2021 model, and on to a top speed of 310 km/h (4 km/h higher). Comparing the new Speed to the other variants powered by the V8 engine, the Bentayga V8 S does the benchmark sprint in 4.5 seconds (1.1 s slower), and the EWB Azure does the same in 4.6 seconds.

Visual cues that identify the 2025 Bentayga Speed from its stablemates include a new, 23-inch alloy wheel design exclusive to the new Bentayga Speed, dark-tinted brightwork and headlamp internals, grey tail lamps with dark-tinted bezels, and dual elliptical exhaust tailpipes.
The latter is already part of a sport exhaust system as standard, though buyers can also specify the optional, quad-tailpipe titanium exhaust by Akrapovic for the Bentayga Speed.
Further technical changes to the Bentayga Speed include a new Sport chassis mode that brings a 15% increase in stiffness over the regular V8-engined Bentayga variants for improved roadholding, while a new Dynamic ESC mode allows “on-throttle slip angles” – a slackened ESC mode that permits powerslides – and full launch control; both firsts for a Bentayga, says Bentley.
Also introduced to the Bentagya Speed is rear-wheel steering, aiding in agility by steering opposite to the front wheels at low and medium speeds, while improving stability by steering in the same direction as the front wheels at high speeds. Carbon-ceramic brakes are optional, and require the fitment of 23-inch wheels on the Bentayga.
Inside, features specific to this Speed variant of the Bentayga include a variant-specific driver information display, Speed badging, and Speed embroidery on the upper seat sections. For interior brightwork, the ‘bullseye’ air vents, organ stops, and central air vents can be specified in a darkened tint as well as the standard chrome finish.
Upholstery on the seat shoulder panels, door inner cards and the backboard (on four-seat variants) get a new Precision Diamond leather quilting. Customisation possibilities, as ever with a new Bentley, can be expected to be vast, and added to these are a choice of seven brake caliper paint colours. For pricing, the V8-engined Bentley Bentayga Speed starts from £219,000 (RM1.3 million) in the UK, according to Autocar.

Hodohnya..People weren’t joking when they said all the top European car designers have jump ship to join Chinese car companies. The brain drain in European and Jepunese car companies is very apparent these 2 years.
