Red Bull Racing explains new 2009 F1 rules

Red Bull Racing RB5

Formula One has gone through various changes over the past few years and as a new enthusiast such as myself it may be a little hard to keep up with all the changes such as traction contol, KERS, wing shapes and sizes, and etc. Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull Racing dissects the new Formula One rulebook for the 2009 race year and simplifies it for us all! The video is also a teaser of sorts for the new Red Bull Renault RB5 Formula One car. It’s a 2 minute and 11 second video so you can probably sneak it in before the boss comes in or during lunch time or something, enjoy watching it!

ever since Michael Schumacher left, I feel F1 have lost quite a lot. I suppose Lewis Hamilton will get the crowd engaged again. However, F1 is desperate, changing rules in 2008 like having bad safety car rules and no traction control. Now they change rules again 2009, no more body aero and reduce downforce, slick tyres (good to have them back) and KERS.

If Vettel is not bluffing that 2009 F1 is more driver dependent, then i can’t wait to see Vettel challenge for top spot. Vettel is a strong driver, he just too nice which is a great PLUS!!

KERS is like playing NFS video game. You got nitrous meter fill up over time in the video game whereas you get your “KERS meter” filled up through braking.

actually, i suspect paultan is actually not human. its definitely some sort of super computer like “HAL” of 2001 space odyssey. Possessing highly developed AI, its main mission is to trawl the world for automotive news.. no way a human could produce the amount of content we see everyday in paultan.org and at all hours of the day.

KERS is good, but Ferrari has had trouble with that new thing in their preseason testing period. It also weighs more, so having it is not really a good thing.
