Perodua has just launched the Myvi 1.3 Exclusive Edition which is now available for booking. We have visited an official distributor in Jalan Manis, Taman Segar Cheras and snapped away some images which can be found after the jump.

They always do cosmetic only. sama la 2×5 Perodua or Proton. Nothing upgrade with engine/transmission/etc. Then people ask Ah Beng to do the job. Lastly, you get caught by JPJ during roadblock.
Pleez la, produce hybrid engine or something like type r mugen, totaly different!

This is the last edition of Myvi before new Myvi (Myvi replacement model) roll out in 2011. The Myvi replacement model will be offer new 1.5cc engine same as upcoming Perodua Alza.

yeap, nothing absolutely nothing. very disappointed. nothing on the engine, leather seat i could have it done for rm200, extra touch up on the sides of the doors, for about rm100, player looks horrible, what else….?
if it has a engine upgrade and made it an exclusive, then thumbs up.

Ini sebenarnya satu perangkap besar bagi pemilik Myvi sekarang… apabila kereta baru akan muncul nanti.. semua kereta Myvi akan jatuh harga… Toyota passo menjadi target rakyat malaysia yang nak convert myvi =passo.
Senario sama berlaku pada kereta Proton Wira.. waktu itu semua orang gilakan kereta proton wira, model wira + evolution menjadi pujaan.

Jika dilihat sekarang, semua model produa material kereta ‘tin milo’, situasi sama berlaku semasa Proton Mitsubishi JV, semua orang komen enjin ok tapi body ‘tin milo’. Nampak gaya satu hari kelak, produa juga akan mengalami kerugian besar.

What people don’t understand is that Perodua is trying to bore us to death with bland awful advertising in anticipation for their MPV release next month. What it does is to build up the anxiety in the market. When the new model comes out, we’ll say, “Wah! So refreshing than the Myvi!!! Don’t care if its more expensive, its got bigger space what! Wah Perodua very good lah!”. Kerrrchinnggg!!!!

national car maker..pls la wei. this so called limited edition..special edition should be stopped.the reason my family use p2 and p1 because we have no choice. my dad use p1 v6 because ‘Tun’ want ipt ppl were given p1 instead of volvo or merc as their official car(it’s govt car). my mom use p2 because my dad feels that the price of jap car is expensive..more expensive after the bank loan.

This is that time again when our local car manufacturer produced something up, it will be flourished by a negative comments from someone who think they good at something or know everything..
I’ll bet if those kura-kura SAVY were pure JDM, made by Mitsubishi, Honda or whatever, and tuned by Mugen or TRD or something, I swear some of you here going to be heretic and worship it as GOD..
But what can I say. It’s local made.. And it’s always be bad. But I wonder, why so many of these car on the road, plus and the clubs, the gathering/TT’s and some international awards they received?
It’s our mentality.. And if anybody ever found a any consumer car that made other then ‘Tin Milo’ like Titanium, Gold or High Carbon Steel or something.. Pleaase I buy it..

Yup, Perodua so-called MPV. It’s not MPV anyway, it’s a 5 seater plus with cardboard that can be use as a seat at back row. For me it is a Myvi wagon. This Myvi wagon, have same spec as Myvi excepts 1.5cc engine and puny tiny thin side impact bar on front door..Maybe it will sell like hotcakes because Malaysian can be easily cheated by good styling and Toyota brand inside it. By selling at 60k++, I think it’s damn expensive and it should be 55k for high spec.

Lmao. “Exclusive Edition”? They just took the rims from the special edition, removed the black paint, and wallah, it’s a ‘different’ rim. Then there’s absolutely no change in the bumpers, headlamps, steering wheel, boot. Everything, cept for the radio, and from what I heard, PVC seats? Wow. Why not just bring the myvi you own to a workshop, ask them to paint the door handles chrome, inside handle also chrome, get the same RIMs, for less?

Another lazy way of milking M’sian motorists by adding only useless accesories. Limited Edition my foot!..
I bet that most of us can mod their MyVi’s much more better than this…
At least add remote control function on the steering wheel, add a center console, better engine power output, tweak the suspension, better speakers, better soundproofing, nicer sport rims..then only can market it as LIMITED EDITION…
@ RM51k, personally Persona from Proton is a better choice IMHO, but it’s up to our own preference. I do admit K-car is better in big congested cities in terms of FC & manevourability.
I rather get a standard Myvi rather than this stupid LE. and better still I can mod it with my own preference with those extra RM5k. Hopefully the sales of this LE is not up to expectation, so that those stupid Execs @ Perodua will realise that M’sians are not stupid and not getting fooled by their marketing gimmick

Can’t P2 bring in another small car which Daihatsu (or Toyota) got? now malaysia is like many years back in China during that time which China has not ‘open market’ yet~~ buying a car is simply not much choice.. (but today in China, all the latest car, you can first seen on their mainland’s road..) but of cos..we can’t fight with China… becos we all know Chinese is hardworking & talented ..
back to P2, come on.. Myvi selling at 50k++…really. i get a second hand 5,6 years back Camry is much worth it…

majority of the buyers of this car are female. i suspect around 70% as this is also the situation in most universities nowadays where only 30% are male. so more graduate are female, and they like the hello kitty looks of the car.
