Hyundai Tucson facelift revealed ahead of Geneva

hyundai tucson facelift

The first image of the facelifted Hyundai Tucson SUV has been released, ahead of the vehicle’s official debut in Geneva this week. The updated second-generation offering – also known as the ix35 in Europe and Australia – will feature an enhanced powertrain line-up among the revisions.

Engine options will include the European-developed Nu 2.0 litre GDI, which replaces the similar displacement Theta-II mill in the current line-up. Elsewhere, the R diesel engine receives clean technology, with LP-EGR (low-pressure exhaust gas recirculation) in the mix.

Other new kit making its way on to the facelift are a three-mode Flex Steer driving system, which offers Normal, Comfort and Sport modes, bi-Xenon headlamps and a TFT Supervision cluster, as well as material upgrades to the interior and detail enhancements to trim.

In Malaysia, the Tucson was given an update late last year, with new variants introduced.

I see all brands also dropping a lot. What is happening to RV in Malaysia? 2010 Camry also want to get RM80,000 also susah. That day I got good deal, 2012 Vios, manage to get for RM55,000. Just few months old, not even a year yet.
