The previous generation ‘flowerhorn’ Honda City was first revived as the Everus S1 under the Guangzhou-Honda joint venture sub-brand Everus in late 2010. This year at Auto Shanghai 2013, it gets a mid-life facelift, and will probably soldier on for another two years or so before the possibility that the current Honda City ends up getting recycled as a new Everus S1 when it is replaced.
The first edition of the Everus S1 got a new grille but the headlamp and taillamp shape remained very familiar, so you could easily identify it as a Honda City. The facelifted Everus S1 further differentiates itself from the original Honda City looks, with a completely revamped front and rear end. You can still connect it to the City via the unique roof profile though.
