McLaren Special Operations 570S for Pebble Beach

McLaren Special Operations (MSO) will be heading to the manicured lawns of the famous Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance later this month with two personalised 570S Coupes.

Two examples have been created by the British brand’s bespoke division. The first 570S Coupe ‘by MSO’ features the uniquely formulated Mauvine Blue paint finish coupled with a bespoke interior finished in Carbon Black leather with co-ordinating detailing, carried through from the exterior colour.

A second 570S, finished in Ventura Orange and fitted with a selection of styling details from the MSO Defined range of options, will take up position on the popular Concept Lawn at the event. The highly-prized location has previously played host to the 12C, 12C Spider and, most recently, the McLaren P1 GTR Design Concept.

Announced in March this year, the 570S Coupe is the first model in McLaren’s Sports Series, the ‘entry-level’ range positioned below the Super Series and Ultimate Series. It features an evolution of the firm’s 3.8 litre V8 twin-turbo engine with 570 PS and 600 Nm. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a seven-speed SSG transmission. 0-100 km/h is done in 3.2 seconds and top speed is 328 km/h.

Official importer McLaren Kuala Lumpur has confirmed that the new Sports Series models – 540C and 570S, now open for pre-order – will be priced from RM638,000 excluding duties and taxes.
