Lexus LX 570 facelift coming to Malaysia in Q4 2015

Lexus-LX570-FL

The Lexus LX 570 is coming to Malaysia and will reach our shores in the fourth quarter of this year, Lexus Malaysia has confirmed. The mega-sized, V8-powered SUV will be a new product for the local Lexus arm, and will keep fellow Japanese beast Infiniti QX80 company in Malaysia.

Lexus’ biggest SUV has just been facelifted, and stands out with an aggressive one-piece spindle grille accented by satin chrome trim. It also receives new LED head- and tailights, plus revised bumpers all around. Big shoes for the big off-roader, and this one gets 20-inch split 10-spoke wheels as standard, with a 21-inch option available. Not bold enough? There’s a Modellista bodykit available.

The LX 570’s 5.7 litre V8 engine stays, with the same 383 hp and 546 Nm of torque, but there’s a new eight-speed auto in place of the old six-speeder. The new Drive Mode Select has four modes – Eco, Comfort, Sport and Sport+ – each with its own throttle and Adaptive Variable Suspension setting.

Inside, a panoramic view monitor and “Climate Concierge” automatic temperature control now comes as standard, alongside a 12.3-inch head unit with Lexus’ Remote-Touch Interface. In the back, passengers are kept busy with larger 11.5-inch screens, USB ports, as well as AC and audio controls in the armrest.

Other notable kit includes the updated Lexus Safety System+ suite, which has ten airbags, All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, blind spot monitor with rear cross traffic alert, and a tyre pressure monitoring system, among other things. Intuitive Park Assist and smart access card key are also present.

Datuk Seri Timber Tycoon, Toyota Land Cruiser not luxurious enough? Here’s the answer.

One of the ugliest luxury SUV ever…. the Lexus facia does not translate well for this.

  • I bet it will be incredibly comfortable however that engine size does not make sense in Malaysia. Its too big and even the rich folks will think twice to purchase it due to its high roadtax.

Great, will wait for pre-owned model after 1 year hopefully.

I hope toyota to bring in land cruiser 4.8, it’s much cheaper and more affordable if selling below 600k for a brand new unit.
