Heading to SEMA this year is a jacked-up Kia Forte Koup, the US-market version of the Kia Cerato Koup. Called the Kia Forte Koup Mud Bogger, it’s one of the six customisations that the brand has built to represent different car cultures around the States. This one, represents the American South.
Modifications that the blue two-door Koup has received include a four-inch body and suspension lift kit. It’s complemented by large 28-inch off-road tyres with white wheels, which can be fitted thanks to modifications of the side fenders and side skirts.
In addition to that, custom black riveted fender flares were also added onto the sides, while white tubular bars are attached to the front bumpers. A strip of white LED lights are also placed fittingly to accompany the tubes.
Up top, the panoramic roof with a vinyl pushback has been removed altogether, giving the interior more light to showcase the pair of Sparco Evo II Red Race seats and the hand-built, white powder-coated roll-cage. Furthermore, the flooring of the two-door has also been given a Line-X protective coat. It’s pretty SUV-like now, don’t you think?
