Mercedes-Benz C 250 Coupe in Thailand – RM400k

The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe (C205) has been launched in Thailand. Two variants of the model will be available there, being the C 250 AMG Dynamic and the C 250 Edition 1.

The C 250 AMG Dynamic is equipped with an AMG Line exterior kit, featuring the brand’s sportier front and rear bumpers and a diamond radiator grille up front. It also gets LED Intelligent Light System headlamps. On the other hand, the C 250 Edition 1 is equipped with an Avantgarde Line exterior, also featuring a diamond radiator grille, but with Avantgarde bumpers and LED projector headlamps.

Wheel options between the two variants also differ, with the AMG Dynamic getting a set of 19-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels and the Edition 1 equipped with similarly-sized rollers with a five, twin-spoke design. Perforated front disc brakes are also limited to the AMG Dynamic variant only.

Inside, the Edition 1 has a nut brown/black colour scheme with Artico man-made leather/Dinamica microfibre upholstery. The AMG Dynamic offers several other schemes, but gets Sport leather upholstery instead. An open-pore black ash wood trim is similarly featured in both variants.

Other common between the two variants include an Audio 20 CD infotainment system, touchpad, automatic belt feeder, multifunction flat-bottomed steering wheel, ambient lighting and brushed stainless-steel sport pedals. Only the AMG Dynamic gets a leather-covered dashboard.

This C-Class Coupe is equipped with a 2.0 litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine that delivers 211 hp at 5,500 rpm and 350 Nm of torque between 1,200 to 4,000 rpm. The car can get from zero to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds and then on to a top speed of 250 km/h. A 7G-Tronic torque converter automatic transmission is equipped, sending power purely to the rear wheels.

In Thailand, the C 250 Coupe Edition 1 is priced at 3.39 million baht (RM400k) and will only be available until the end of the year. The AMG Dynamic variant is listed at 3.79 million baht (RM448k). How much are you looking forward to seeing this model in Malaysia? Tell us in the comments below.
