Subaru of America has lifted the veils off of the 2017 Subaru BRZ Series.Yellow, a limited edition version of the recently facelifted sports car. Only 500 cars will be made, each based on the manual version of the Limited model.

As the name suggests, the car gets a bright yellow exterior, which is accompanied by black 17-inch alloy wheels, black BRZ and Subaru badging, and black side mirrors. The Performance Package offered for the Limited model is also standard on the Series.Yellow.

The pack upgrades the BRZ’s brakes to feature Brembo four-piston calipers and rotors on the front and dual-piston calipers and rotors on the rear. Sachs Performance dampers have also been fitted to provide improved handling and stability.

Aside from these performance parts (and new paintjob), the BRZ remains relatively unchanged. The 2.0 litre D-4S direct-injected, naturally-aspirated flat-four still serves up 205 hp and 214 Nm, with power sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission and Torsen limited-slip differential.

Inside, black leather and Alcantara upholstery is applied to various parts of the car, including the seats. Much like the exterior, the colour yellow is prominent here as well, with the contrast stitching, seat accents and the embroidered BRZ logo on the front seatbacks all featured in said colour.
