Volvo C30 Hatch based on Volvo Safety Concept Car

I’m sure many of you have heard of the Volvo Safety Concept Car which were at car shows quite sometime ago. It won’t go to waste. Volvo is using the design cues from that car for it’s new Volvo C30 hatchback which will debut at the North American International Auto Show at Detroit soon.

The Volvo C30 is built on the same Ford C1 platform that’s used for the Volvo S40 sedan, Volvo V50 stationwagon, Volvo C70 convertible and Ford Focus.

This will be the smallest Volvo yet, and likely be the most affordable. It will go head on with other competition like BMW’s 1-series and the Audi A3.

this one looks better than the 1-series. looks like a 5 door hatch to me, only couldn’t find the door handle. could be similar to 147 style? dunno. wait till the car goes into production.

LANGKAWI: Two sweethearts planning to get engaged died in a crash when the car they were travelling in hit two trees, a lamppost and a telephone booth.

Siti Salmiah Mohamad, 20, died on the spot while her boyfriend Mohd Shaifful Shaffie, 19, died at the Langkawi Hospital. Both were rear-seat passengers .

Driver Mohamad Haniff Manaf, 19, and passenger Mohd Zaki Mohd Roji, 16, escaped with minor injuries.

WHAT SURPRISE ME, “Both were rear-seat passengers”, my guess is that the couple were not using the rear seat belt when the accident happen.

This car has a unique A-pillar, where Driver can see through it and will reduce Blind Spots. However this car styling looks SUCKs! Too much sunlight goes into the cabin, especially in Malaysia, F***King hot man.
