Volvo exhibited the Volvo C30 SportsCoupe at the 2006 Paris Motor Show. The Volvo C30 will be available in 5 trim levels – the S, SE, SE Sport and SE Lux. This set of photos show the Volvo C30 in SE Sport trim level, which includes 18 inch alloy wheels and a full bodykit with the body painted in a two tone finish.

The side looks a bit bland compared to the interesting front and rear ends. Although the rear screen looks weird but I'd really appreciate a car like that; makes reversing so much easier, unlike modern cars where you can practically see nothing at the back.

I dont know how long Volvo would keep that headlight design. The rear is not so appealing to me, plus it does look wired.

So far all of the reports on the C30 praised its handling and ride, which is great for Volvo's baby car.

the rear needs a little getting used to but on a whole, this is one clean looking design. volvo used to be boxes on wheels but nowadays they are looking sexy and good. if only i could afford one… sigh

Yea man…I think the Volvo look is old already. Time to get away from the current design language.
The C30 uses the S40/V50 platform (which is also the Focus's) but chassis is tuned further still and this results in an entertaining chassis, more so than the donor cars.
The cabin features individual seats at the rear and plenty of room for six-footers, something uncommon for modern hatchbacks.

The "chopped-@$$" design takes a little getting used to. But proportions-wise, I think this car will handle very well. But not as hot as other hot hatches. The front's pretty, the rear… lemme think…
