Brabus Rocket CLS Police Car

brabuspolice1.jpg

The Tune It Safe! program was the brainchild of the German Federal Traffic Ministry and the Association of German Automobile Tuners, created to encourage drivers to adopt safe and legal tuning practices. Every year, the Tune It Safe! program would display a car at the Essen Motor Show. This year, it’ll be this monster, a Brabus Rocket CLS V12 S police car. Brabus has taken a 6.3 liter V12 engine and souped it up to produce 730hp at 5100rpm and a mind-blowing 1320 Nm of torque from 2100rpm!

More photos after the jump.

With the huge amount of torque available so low down at only 2100rpm, the driver could practically give chase to most cars without even needing to down shift from top gear. The gallardo police car also would not be able to match its pace. However, the handling is still questionable since nothing had be said yet.

imagine one bloke running his Lambo at some hundred km/j..and how shocked he is, to see his side mirrors, one police rocket beaming down his heels. cucuk rapat. and promptly waived him to slow down and stop…

    hahahaha..surely he’d turn blue!

this CLS will eat those Porshes, Lambos, and even Ferraris.

Tracks, if you want to know about the handling of this car, I suggest you buy a copy of last months Evo magazine (not sure if the Malaysian one ran the column but the UK one definately did). I think i have to re-read the article to remember what they said after driving the car but i think it was a thumbs up with no slack for the torque/techno/horsepower fest.

This is what happen in a developed country. Our policy only get stoned by the perpetrators.

I’m sure if this was given to our police force, it would be stolen by the driver and ‘de-labelled’ for his own use hahaha.

But that said, this thing sounds fast in a straightline but im not sure if it can turn ahhaha

Safe tuning FTW. Very good idea. So tuning shop can open and tune car legally like in Germany and Japan.

Autobahn Police Car all can pecut 300 km/h 1 lar. Even learners want to get license in Germany must pecut above 200 km/h on the Autobahn. If they don’t use this car, how to catch a speeding specially tuned Porsche ?

    analyzer,
actually if you want to ram mat rempits you’d have to get brabus to soup up a caterpillar bulldozer to go slightly faster than a kapcai!
