Another one of those crazy promotional stunts - a Spyker F1 car goes head to head against an F16 Fighter Jet. This little 1,000 meter drag race was held at the Volkel Air Force Base. In the F1 car’s driver’s seat is Spyker driver Christian Albers, while piloting the F16 is Captain Ralph Aarts.

They should race against other F1 cars and win, rather than race against a fighter plane. Their performance thus far is dismal. Reminds me of Minardi.

Last time ferrari F1 car,forgotten which year already,also did race against F-16 of Italian air force.It was driven by M.Schumacher.There was three races,300m,500m(if not mistaken)and 1000m.Schumacher won the 300m and F-16 won the latter races,

well one thing is that Its LMAO. First F-16’s are old by now, so I think that implies to the spyker’s technology as well. Another thing is that this is lame, not new at all. In Ripley’s some time ago, A dodge Viper V-10 vs F-16 side by side to see who reach half a mile first. This is not really side by side.

F16 won coz the pilot decided to turn his back against the race and launch heat seeking missile. Spyker = gone case…

There’s no such thing as pointless. It’s stated there clearly “promotional stunts”. In a sense it’s already successful coz you guys look at the video. Same case as the Ferrari Enzo getting fuc**d up by Eddie Griffin. Anyway, in this “drag” the F-16 won.

ar lar… the video shooting was done in a horrible way.
it’s not a proper planned video shooting as it seems…
and i don’t get the point they are trying to delivering be it stunt stuff, or showing their F1 is very fast.
there’s no element in the video..
