This is a concept version of Suzuki’s new A-segment global car, which will be shown to the public at the 2008 New Delhi Auto Show in January next year and it is called the Suzuki A-Star Concept. The Suzuki A-Star Concept points to the design direction of the next generation Suzuki Alto, which will make its global debut at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show in March.
The small Suzuki Alto compact car is currently the number one car in India in terms of sales and is priced between 2.59 lakh to 3.13 lakh Indian rupees. It sells nearly 18,000 units a month on average.

Great design especially at the front, but the side mirror is not pactical. It’s only for track use or stupid Ah Beng boasting cars.

Damn.. the eyes (lights) reminds me of the eyes that of a lion (dance) head… quite hypnotic tho..
Should sell here for the younger market but then it would eat up P1 and P2…
Only price talks here..

But, isn’t it just a concept car?

The side mirror in the concept is probably video-camera-powered, jusdging from the size, i’m sure the final one will be more conventional. Overall nice looking car there~

nice looking car but the side looks a bit like myvi.
wonder if myvi can be modded into this look.

December 12, 2007 @ 5:52 pm
i see some typo in first paragraph. is it a pun to indian accent? hehehe
anyway, suzuki is in the right direction to promote the small concept car since majority of indian cars are small car. even the side mirror, from my point of view is not illegal in india compared to conventional type of side mirror.
