MUGEN bodykit for Japanese/Euro Honda Accord

MUGEN Honda Accord

If you own a JDM/Euro Honda Accord, this is absolutely NOT how you should bling it up, but unfortunately that’s exactly what MUGEN wants you to do. Somehow the piece of kit looks like it belongs on something like the Type R instead of a luxo-D-segment sedan like the Accord, even if the Japanese/Euro Accord is slimmer than the large and spacious version that the Asians and Americans get. If you must MUGENize your accord, most of the parts are okay but lose the spoiler please! Have a look at more photos of the MUGEN Honda Accord in the gallery after the jump.

i guess u can’t blame mugen for keeping their consistent look going? but sigh, the wing looks ridiculous. the small lip spoiler would’ve been far more suitable

Honda, the sport car wanabe. The pull out from F1 is clear that Honda can’t win races anymore.

Wow, my mum will love the spoiler, it provides more space to hang clothes.

The rims are too shiny too. It cheapens the look of the car.

we don’t get this car cause its smaller than current accord. Malaysians like things big like US, not small. This is a Euro, jap model.

I somehow think this version is much better than the one in Malaysia market. That looks a bit 5 series, this looks a bit original and yet sporty. The head lamp is cool too, like a Gundam with mask on haha.

Overall is okay, very muscular except the rear spoiler. It might look the same like current Type R or Mugen Civic, but they are different ain’t they? The angle of curve in this version is too much.

In fact, the recent rear spoiler Honda and Mugen produce is one of the best looking (IMHO). Many Honda City and Toyota VIOS have adopted the Civic rear spoiler. However this version seems too curvy and doesn’t match the body styling. Perhaps an EVO 3 spoiler can help. :P

Overall it’s very nice. If parked next to a Mugen-ized Civic will catch more attention than the next one.

the lights are nice, but lose the spoiler and the grille, and i think it will look better.

Accord that was recently launched in Malaysia carries another name in Japan Honda, namely Inspire. And the one we see here is the true 100% Accord.

As most people know, Jazz in Malaysia is originally known as Fit, and City as Fit Aria. That’s okay because the manufacturer doesn’t have any model that clash the naming. But Inspire and Accord are two different models, this decision of making an Inspire carry Accord name seems improper.

This body kit looks like a boy racer kit which you buy from Brothers Acessories shop. The body kit should be toned down to suit the ‘elegant sport’ looks of the Accord.
