Kia KH: first sketches of all-new RWD flagship sedan

Kia has revealed the first sketches of what will be its all-new flagship sedan, which is set to be introduced in the Korean market sometime in the first half of the year. The KH, as it’s codenamed, won’t just be limited to the domestic market – Kia says the car will be its flag-bearer in other markets globally.

No details about the car, save that it’ll have the honour of being the company’s first rear-wheel drive vehicle. Kia says that the the design concept behind the KH is tagged as ‘distinctive, modern and classic,’ but there are enough family-look cues on call, the radiator grille design being one of them.

  • And when is Protongkat gonna replace that Banana V6 after so many monkeys years til now…

Look at that Kia KH design…BMW must be worried pee in their pants now…

Let see if Kia can produced it at 1/7 price of 7-series yet still as luxuriously designed as 7-series…

Such a shame 7-series here priced 7 times more expensive than Banana V6 but tagged as luxury Protongkat…shame…

it’s Bimmer not beemer. Beemer or Beamer is a name reserves for its motorbikes. Bimmer for car.

BMW and Merc will never worry about wannabes.

They fear more on direct competitons… example Lexus.

Wow, you can afford BMWs, Benz-es and Ferraris…. Happy for you…. But don’t have to label people Pathetic, if they could only afford this car but still admire it…..

The real thing isn’t as pretty though (at least as these sketches, who know how the final version will look like.

I mean, those headlights are gorgeous, whereas on the 6 series… Jesus have they messed that up!

Yea, it’s pathetic to you, but for cash-strapped people like us, it’s something we can still appreciate. You think everybody is able to buy a new BMW, even the most basic 1-Series here for some sort of matter? Just because you can afford those posh brands doesn’t mean you have the right to bash this car and call people who like this pathetic. These Koreans arent that bad after all, let alone Japan themselves, so give credit where it’s due. And has the Japs, Lexus and Infiniti aside, come up with a desirable flagship which isnt a supercar or sports car? Doubt that.

Grow up please, you come here to talk about cars in general, not keep promoting your anti-Korean rhetoric, no substance, all talk. Pathetic.

It’s nice, but the Maserati-esque grille and side ports looks kinda tacky on what’s an otherwise decent first effort by Kia to create their ultimate halo flagship.

S-Class size for something that costs less to buy than an E-Class? Yeah, why not, as long as the package is right, it should find a solid, if not massive crowd.

I wish the 7 series was this pretty… hell, I’m German, I like BMW, and I think somehow BMW almost always screws up… and then comes Kia and do the BMW design… without messing it up. Is it a policy at BMW to not design a car that looks perfect?

Exactly, imagine Rorex Watch, Plada Handbag, Blueberry Cellphone so now we have BMW (Bimbibab Motor Works) KIA.

Wow Bimbibab Motor Works! You’re funny! WTF!
If you have tons of money, go buy yourself a Beemer or Ferrari or even Hennessey Venom GT, I don’t have a lot of money, need to pay for house loan, study loan, car loan, personal loan so if KIA brings in cars that looks great and cheap, I’ll gladly be one of the buyer!
