We are live at Auto Bavaria Sg. Besi’s Dynamic Drive event, where participants have the chance to experience the BMW 3-Series in an oversteer exercise. During the exercise, participants are able to try out the 3er with its DSC function turned off – DSC, which stands for Dynamic Stability Control prevents the vehicle from going out of control.
Basically, various sensors on the car will look out for symptoms that point to an understeer or oversteer situation. As soon as DSC detects it, the safety feature will quickly carry out selective braking to bring the vehicle back into its stable form. Above is a video showing you a piece of the action. Some participants also got the chance to see the F30 and F10 going sideways. :)
You can also view live images after the jump.
