VIDEO: No covered car park? Here’s a clever solution

Who needs a garage when you've got something like this.#VideofromChina

Don’t like leaving your car outside, open to the environment? Looks like someone in China has thought of a clever solution for your problem – a personal covered car park.

As you can see in the video above, the contraption can be placed at an open car park. All you have to do then is to manoeuvre your vehicle into the spot, get out, and the machine will form a cover around your car.

Whether such a thing will do more harm than good under the scorching hot sun is a different thing altogether, of course, but at least it’ll protect your car from pesky leaves and bird droppings, that’s for sure.

So folks, what do you think of this invention?

Looks good but don’t think it will be cheap. Money saved buying this personal covered carpark can wash, polished and wax the car thousand of times….if not maybe hundreds…..But worth it or not depends on the individual…..

  • If at open car park, how do one have access to eletrical power? maybe a cheaper version (self-pulling the cover from it’s hub) can be made available. Nonetheless, a good start to maybe a better solution in the future!

  • Nowadays you have camptents which are supported by air tubes frames. Just pump air into the tube and voila the tent is erected. If they can use the same idea n design it to fit a vehicle then its a cheaper alternative to keep one in your boot and pump it up when u need to
