As Sir William Lyons once said, “the car is the closest thing we will ever create to something that is alive.” The words of Jaguar’s founder combine the three strands of technology, performance and design, elements that form Jaguar’s Alive DNA.
This leads us to the Jaguar XE, which is now being featured on Jaguar’s Malaysian website. For an in-depth look at the Jaguar XE, simply refer to our earlier review.
There are three engine choices available, a 2.0 litre Ingenium turbocharged diesel that comes in two state of tunes (163 PS/380 Nm and 180 PS/430 Nm), a 2.0 litre turbocharged petrol in 200 PS/280 Nm and 240 PS/ 340 Nm output forms and a range-topping 340 PS/450 Nm 3.0 litre supercharged V6.
As we reported earlier, the first cars arrived in ASEAN for homologation in July, and apparently Singapore is targeting a November launch, so the car could well be set for a Malaysian debut in early 2016.
In any case, if you want to keep abreast with the latest developments regarding the XE, simply head over to Jaguar Malaysia’s website and sign up for the latest updates.

Jaguar cars are attractive but weak dealership in Malaysia would mean low resale values. Come to think of it, are there any after sales service centres outside the Klang Valley? I don’t think so.
No wonder the Jaguar brand is selling in such small numbers against the A Grade Germans BMW and Mercedes as they have dealerships in almost all states.
Jaguars are nice to look at but questionable to own (in malaysia)
Nice to see nice to drive. Once owned you’re completely fxxked.
