During a two and a half hour operation from 9.30pm to Monday midnight by KL traffic police dubbed Ops Sepadu Roda, PDRM issued a total of 257 summonses to motorists for various traffic offences. This includes driving with an expired licence, driving without a licence, no P and L stickers placed on the car’s windscreen and no side mirrors for motorcycles. 35 policemen were deployed as part of the exercise.
The operation took place at Jalan Bangsar heading towards the city, and according to KL traffic police chief ACP Mohd Nadzri Hussain, police also apprehended a 37-year-old man who was allegedly driving a stolen BMW. Nadzri told The Sun that police seized the car, which registration number did not appear in JPJ’s records, as well as 18 motorcycles.
The operation was not without its fair share of danger. Bernama reports that a police corporal injured his left arm and shoulder after he was hit by a motorcyclist trying to evade the roadblock. Identified as Johan Mohd Mesbah, the police corporal is currently in stable condition and being treated at Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
The motorcyclist, a local man in his 20s, was found to be under the influence of alcohol. He was released under police bail after his statement was taken and is expected to be charged at the Jalan Duta Magistrate’s Court today. Police also tested five motorcyclists positive for drugs.

Wanna pick a fight when flashed or horned at.
Where is the enforcement ?
