Another pricing revision exercise for 2016, this time from Audi Malaysia. A price increase has been announced for seven models in the local lineup, starting with the A5 2.0 TFSI quattro Sportback, which is now costlier by RM3,000 at RM357,900.
The prices for the two A6 models available locally are also up, again by RM3,000 each – the A6 1.8 TFSI now goes for RM327,900, while the A6 3.0 TFSI quattro is RM487,900.
Next, the Q3, with the 1.4 TFSI variant being RM1,000 more than last year, at RM218,900, while the 2.0 TFSI quattro version now costs RM2,000 extra, retailing at a new price of RM254,900.
Finally, the TT and TTS models – the TT 2.0 TFSI has seen a RM2,000 price hike, and is now RM286,900, while the TTS 2.0 TFSI quattro will cost buyers RM3,000 more for one, now priced at RM392,900. All prices are on-the-road without insurance.
Anoraks would by now have spotted that the retail price for the A3 1.4 TFSI doesn’t match that when post-GST prices for the brand were released in April last year. Back then, the model went for RM179,900, and is now listed as RM186,900 without any mention of changes to pricing.
A quick check with Audi Malaysia reveals that the pricing for the variant was revised in October last year to that listed now, though with the hike also came the inclusion of Park Aid plus (front sensors) and Comfort key as standard kit.

Better kit for the basic A3 but still missing full electric seats
Can I buy an Audi with VW logo? may be is cheaper this way and they both are the same.
Audi german sausage cars as good as kimchi cars
Toyota penipu. Naik harga mlampau. Audi max pon naik 3k je.
Unlike many other brands Audi’s increase is quite minimal at < 1%, which is good for everybody.
A very reasonable price increase, for the ones that did get the increase. So Lexus, justify the reason why such a big increase on your lineup – after all both you guys and Audi import the cars in from your home countries.
Not very good news but infinitely (pun intended) better than the ridiculous toyota and lexus umw crap…
No change in price also no difference la for audi sales in malaysia
Still considered as good, and Audi is one luxurious brand.
Audi’s pricing revisions are not as bad as Lexus which is under UMW.Why?
Isn’t the Q7 priced RM589,900 ?
oh yeah… it is @ RM589,900
From personal experience, Audi-Malaysia spent little effort into continuous clients post-sales engagement. Seems like they are only interested to have one-time sale of new vehicle to buyer. Little emphasis on total ownership experience and engagement to create further opportunities for upgrade-sales as well as upsales into owners social-circle. Could be an important area to look at since premium segments in most asian countries are closely linked to lifestyle rather than pure performance enthusiasm. Definitely an area for their local leadership to improve, considering their current sales volume and trend in 2015 in Malaysia.
