Have you ever felt that the Rezvani Beast is missing something? The agressive visuals may be sufficient for some, but it lacks the ‘X’ factor for others. Don’t worry because the California-based company has introduced the new X Performance package for the Beast.
Unlike the rare and exceptionally expensive Beast X, which gains a twin-turbo K24 DOHC 2.4 litre engine (the Beast is based on the Ariel Atom), the X Performance package merely tags on several aerodynamic styling components to keep up (in terms of looks) with its USD$325,000 (RM1.34 million) sibling.
Here, the Beast gets a front spoiler, side skirts and a large rear wing. All those additional body pieces are made of carbon-fibre, so as not to disrupt its 748 kg weight. There are also revised air ducts and a carbon-fibre steering wheel as well.
No changes to the Beast’s powertrain, with the supercharged K24 DOHC 2.4 litre engine continuing to provide 500 hp and 507 Nm of torque, connected to a six-speed manual. The car accelerates from a standstill to 97 km/h (0-60 mph) in just 2.7 seconds. Top speed is 265 km/h.
Interested? Unforunately, Rezvani Motors has yet to provide any pricing details on the X Performance package. However, customers can purchase the components individually if they so desire.

So they took a car that was brilliant (the Atom), and removed what made it brilliant? Great idea!
You could see exactly where the wheels were, what the suspension was doing, you were in full control. Then they clad it with some unnecessary stuff like bodywork. It was extremely lightweight, thus had great handling and acceleration/deceleration. then they clad it with some unnecessary stuff like bodywork and made it heavy.
