Petron Turbo Diesel Euro 5 fuel introduced in Malaysia

Petron has quietly rolled out is new Euro 5 diesel fuel in Malaysia, named the Petron Turbo Diesel Euro 5. As of now, a total of 14 stations offer the premium diesel fuel – 10 in the Klang Valley and four in Johor. As with all Euro 5 diesel fuels, it has low sulphur content of 10 ppm compared to 500 ppm in standard Euro 2M diesel.

The company claims the new diesel blend “enhances combustion and power restoration in your engines for better power, better engine protection and better mileage.” Together with a multi-functional additive, Petron says the new diesel option offers “more savings on maintenance and fuel.”

Petron Turbo Diesel Euro 5 is priced at a 10 sen premium over regular Euro 2M diesel – that’s RM1.85 per litre as of October 2016. The first 14 Petron stations selling Turbo Diesel Euro 5 are:

Klang Valley
1. Petron Subang Indah
2. Petron Jalan Maarof
3. Petron Sg. Jati
4. Petron Damansara Kayu Ara
5. Petron Grand Saga NB
6. Petron Mile 8
7. Petron Seri Kembangan Raya
8. Petron Sg. Rasah
9. Petron Jalan Kapar
10. Petron Bangi Section 10

Johor
1. Petron Temenggong Ahmad
2. Petron Buloh Kasap
3. Petron Majidee
4. Petron Pasir Gudang West 2

This should be a sign that euro 5 will be exempted from the b 10 ruling. if they were required , they would have waited until the directive is issued rather than do twice launching for one product

Sabah is a large petroleum contributor for this country. But we are always left out of goodies such as this. Not only that, we also have to fork out more when buying goods due to the ridiculous cabotage policy. How unfair?!
