The Petronas Coffee Break carries on in 2018 for its 19th year this Chinese New Year, as part of the national petroleum company’s commitment to advocating a culture of road safety among motorists in Malaysia.
On-road attentiveness is in particular focus, and for this year, the campaign will run from February 14-15 and subsequently from February 18-19 at 141 Petronas stations nationwide, offering complimentary coffee and snacks as mid-journey refreshments before motorists carry on to their destinations.
The national petroleum company’s campaign is supported by partners including Nestle Products, Delfi Marketing, Julie’s Marketing, Mondelez Malaysia, Munchworld Marketing and Suntory beverage & Food Malaysia. New partners to the campaign this year are Shopee Mobile Malaysia and Dunkin’ Donuts. Further to that, there will also be a road safety advocacy programme conducted by the Road Safety Department.
Select Petronas stations will also be reinforcing the safety message with complimentary health checks courtesy of St. John Ambulance of Malaysia, which continues to have Petronas on board as fuel sponsor for the 25th year running. The ambulance service will have units stationed along highways for emergency assistance during this festive period.

Thank you Petronas. I hope more GLC participate and help the rakyat. I just see private companies sponsoring this except Petronas.

Looks like Milo is persona non grata.
I love this 2018 PETRONAS CNY video clip and I almost tear out. Sometime along the way some people change and some might not change, because they are truly treasure “those year sweet memories in their livelihood”. Its very importance of being “grateful, respectful and loveful” because without others we might not exist in this world. I love to this is what a wonderful world of all, hereby wishing everyone Malaysian regardless background/age/religion/culture/race…..WE ARE ALL HAPPY FAMILY…..can you imagine….??? We all can live as one….
Make it free – even if it’s a 50sen stuff – and people will rush in. A bit of petty freeloading’s way better than killing each other on the highways. But jokes aside, this is a good effort by Petronas and others to make the roads safer. Kudos.
