Volkswagen Golf GTI fans will no doubt be familiar with the Wörthersee GTI Festival in Austria, where the brand’s faithful gather to celebrate all that’s weird and wonderful about the iconic hot hatch. Now, you too could join in the festivities at this year’s edition, thanks to Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM)!
That’s right, VPCM is offering an all-expenses-paid trip for two to the Mecca of all things GTI, the Wörthersee GTI Festival, through an online quiz running from now until March 27. To participate, simply register and fill in your personal details on the official Volkswagen Malaysia website, and you can then take part in a practice round to familiarise yourself with the game and its mechanics.
From then on, it’s just a matter of answering a set of 10 rapid-fire, multiple-choice questions as quickly as possible. The questions will all be related to the venerable Golf, from its history to the exact model, so those with an intimate knowledge of the people’s car will have an edge. Each participant allowed to submit multiple entries, with the questions randomised every time you take the quiz.
At the end of the contest period, three finalists will be selected, based on the fastest time, to compete in the final round at High Street, 1 Utama Shopping Centre on March 31. The contestants will be pitted head-to-head in a live quiz, and the one with the fastest time and the most correct answers will win, subject to the decision by a panel of judges.
