2018 Ducati Malaysia price list without GST released – price savings from RM27,672 to RM2,881

With the zero-rating of GST coming into force June 1, Ducati Malaysia has released its revised price list. Save for certain limited edition models such as the Superleggera as well as the soon to be released Panigale V4, removal of GST has realised most of the savings around the RM5,000 point.

The recently released Supersport S now comes in at RM83,867, dropping RM5,032 from the previous retail price of RM88,900. The naked sports Monster 821 goes for RM66,886, down from RM70,900, a savings of RM4,013.

Ducati’s power cruiser, the XDiavel S which used to be priced at RM160,899 can be yours for RM151,791 after removal of RM9,107 in GST. This bike is cheaper than a Birkin handbag, with the added advantage of making the rider actually look cool.

For Ducati’s adventure bikes, the Multistrada 1260 S in Ducati Red goes for RM126,320, the price being reduced by RM7,579 from RM133,900. The top-of-the-line Pikes Peak model of the Multistrada now retails at RM147,075, down by RM8,824 from RM155,900.

Of course, Ducati is best known for its V-twin superbikes, and the Panigale 959 which usually retails at RM100,899 drops RM5,711 to RM95,187. At the very top is the 1299 Panigale R Final Edition which drops RM19,239 from RM339,900 to RM320,660.

In conjunction with the Naza Gaya Raya promotion, Ducati Malaysia is running a special promotion for selected Ducati models. Amongst there are the Monster 797 at RM45,000 and the Multistrada 950 at RM76,000, without GST and specially priced for this period.

Aside from that, purchasers of the Multistrada 1200 Enduro and XDiavel Matte Black will get a free trip to World Ducati Week 2018. The trip to Italy for World Ducati Week is worth RM20,000.
