Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) has introduced the AMG Owners Community Malaysia (AOCM), a network for all existing and new owners of Mercedes-AMG automobiles. The initiative, which was officially launched last Friday at Hap Seng Star’s Balakong Autohaus, already has more than 200 members.
The AOCM is the latest initiative by MBM to elevate the AMG experience to greater heights. Members become a part of a dedicated and exclusive community with access to all things AMG – driving days, product previews, elite motorsport events and unique collectables.
Benefits include exclusive invitations to preview new AMG automobiles as well as priority seating for motorsport events alongside limited merchandise and apparel. Members will also be invited to the Mercedes-Benz Driving Experience, where they will be able to utilise their own AMG vehicles on the track.
Owners who register their new Mercedes-AMG vehicles as well as existing owners who sign up from now until November 30 will receive a welcome pack which includes a numbered member card, car sticker, custom-designed polo-shirt and a laser-engraved paperweight.
“It gives us great pleasure to welcome our Mercedes-AMG owners to join ‘The World’s Fastest Family’ via the AOCM, where the cost of membership is nothing more than ownership and enjoyment of your Mercedes-AMG automobile. We look forward to hosting these passionate fans and enthusiasts of our most powerful and dynamically desirable cars with experiences that are exclusive only to them as we uphold the AMG ideal of driving performance in everything that we do,” said MBM’s VP of sales and marketing Mark Raine.
The company has also announced a promotion for its flexible financing package available for its AMG models – the first few customers to activate Performance Agility Care will receive an exclusive Mercedes-AMG merchandise pack worth RM5,000. The campaign runs until October 31.
Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
Now that really cheapens up the brand…!
AOCM = Alza Owners’ Club Malaysia…? WTF…!!!
///M-Town here I come…
AMGs Lets go convoys yo’
All these gimmicks will be passed on to the consumer as higher service charges.
Now servicing your Mercedes at official SC cost a huge bomb compared to before. This is because they have all sorts of programmes and gimmicks like this which they pass on to the consumer as higher service bills
This is why got now hundreds of German car specialist outside now sprouting up catering to those who want to service their Benz outside.
My Benz I service outside I save like 50% of the cost.
Mercedes AMG cars just amaze me. Just from a 2.0 they can pump out 400bhp.
This is what you call research and development. Germans work hard to pump put more from a 2.0. They don’t goyang kaki in office but constantly improving themselves
Something Proton should learn
Yeah right…! Later over-pump till masuk kilang, Plotong owners might have the last laugh…
So….what happens when you sell your AMG? Do they revoke your membership and pass it on to the new owner and only reactivate your membership if you purchase another new AMG vehicle?
Seancorr, i think that one no need for you to worry. If u can ask this question it already shows u dont own an AMG. Usually an AMG owner will have other cars such as Ferrari, Lambo and etc. Wont purposely care for the membership cuz its free anyway. Hope that answer ur queries well enuf
