So, you’ve worked hard in life and have reached a point where you’re ready to take the plunge and buy a premium car to call your own. It’s no doubt going to cost quite you a bit of money, so you want to make sure you make the best decision possible.
This means devoting a lot of time trawling through the internet to read up on all the available options, comparing specifications and prices, as well as discussing (or arguing) with your friends on which model deserves your hard-earned money.
However, buying a new premium car isn’t just about numbers and specifications, as there are other factors to consider before you pull the trigger. With that in mind, our very own Hafriz Shah is here to share his top 10 things to look out for when purchasing a new premium car. From surface-level factors such as looks and the types of materials used, to things like ownership experience after the initial purchase, we hope the video gives you a better insight when it comes to purchasing a new premium car.
Of course, everyone loves a good deal when they buy something, and there are plenty of those on offer at this year’s paultan.org Premium Auto Car Expo (PACE), which takes place on November 2 and 3, 2019 at the Setia City Convention Centre.

There used to be a time when reliability was an important consideration. You just want to get in the car, and not worry about it not starting. And it only requires normal service. Like buying a W124 Mercedes and passing it to your great grandchildren. And soon #10 “after sales service” will come to bite you. There might come a time, you need to pay annual subscription to enable some functions which have already been installed. Want Apple Carplay? Sure pay RM xxx a year to switch it on, if not, no navigation for you. Want to use adaptive lights? You’ll get charged per hour of use. Don’t want to use? Your light only goes straight and doesn’t curve its way around oncoming traffic. Don’t want to use turn indicators? Oh wait..
I can’t even begin to imagine what car might meet all these wonderful criteria? Can Hafriz give some clue?

This should be marked out as an advertorial. Understandable that you need revenue to run the site but it should be earmarked as that. So all Volvos will get rave reviews now? Some journalistic integrity is expected. Regardless, all the useless features like tacky light design, AEB (which face it, not one really relies on), “Autonomous” Cruise control (wtf) and active lane assist are at best useless annoying toys that can be found in many non “luxury” cars. Why no mention of residual values? Is it because Volvo’s residual is one of the worst if compared with other luxury makes?
