With the start of the 2023 Malaysian school session next week, the police Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) remind parents to ensure their children follow road rules. Focusing on students riding motorcycles to school, police said a licence is compulsory to show competence when operating a motor vehicle.
Next, wearing a helmet is mandatory for both rider and pillion. Additionally, motorcycles cannot be operated by children below 16 years of age in Malaysia.
Lamenting the fact some parents allow children to ride motorcycles to school without the necessary compliance, the statement on police social media said this has been going on for too long with parents taking a lackadaisical attitude to road safety.
JSPT will be conducting “Ops Didik” on a targetted basis at schools across the country beginning next week. Police continue to take an advocating approach towards school children and motorcycle safety.
Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
Remind apa benda? Mak bapak pun sama bawak motor haanat.
What were the kids doin outside at 3AM?
The parents know how to make multiple kids, but not teaching them the right kinda values,
Having multiple kids is to maintain them as major population in Malaysia, nothing to do about good manners or contribution to society
Just hit up the numbers to claim Malaysia is their country
Education is important. It shows how a person whether he/she is considerate and thoughtful before making comments, as well as educating and monitoring their children
Lol…this kind of thing need remind ? Just jail the kid for 8 hours, they will learn
Jail the parents n confiscate any rempitting bike.
Soft approach doesnt work anymore.
YAB Anwar, instead of taxing T20 extra..just send your enforcements to every sekolah.I guarantee thousands of summons can be issued for 3 on a bike,no helmets,no licence, illegal school vans, dangerous driving, rempitting etc.
To add more collection, just station PDRM at all traffic junctions…those blardy riders who r color blind..saman them until Grab,Food panda ,Lalamove gets complaints for delivery delays.
And give them a hammer to smash their own bike. If they can’t do it then they will get smash by hammer.
Should be Ops Castrate/Sterilize…
So that will not breed like no tomorrow.
they breed a lot so that easier to replace when 1 or 2 leaves early
As if the parents are angels riding bikes and follow all rules.. Majority dont even have liscence or actually pay road tax
Nothing hapen, riding hapily n stil can showed finger gesture when accident hapen, trying to push the blame to car user why never giv way to motorcycle, worst is a fatal accident.
When they get caught and under age 18 straight sent them to Henry Gurney School! On age 18 straight to jail for one years plus.
If parent don’t want to pay jail fee or Henry Gurney School fee, straight to death sentence.
If parent able to pay those fee mean good. When out for jail then get caught again? Please straight sent them to death sentence!!!
Don’t wast our Malaysian money!!! For useless people!!!
Law didn’t enraged or bitter they won’t scare or paint!!!
Yes, if death penalty is too much, then take their pride. If you know what I mean.
Kids caught riding illegally modified bikes or without license should have their legs amputated so they’ll be wheelchair bound for life.
Advantage of riding motorcycle,
1) No nd licence
2) No nd roadtax, insurance
3) Can go against traffic
4) No nd helmet
5) Can beat traffic lights
6) Can carry 4 person
7) No nd number plate
8) No headlight n taillight
9)……what else? I lost count
