The RM4,800 step from the Perodua Ativa 1.0 X CVT to the Perodua Ativa 1.0 H CVT does not buy more performance: both use the same 996 cc turbo three-cylinder, 97 hp, 140 Nm, D-CVT and 5.3 L/100 km rating. The money goes into daily-use kit, mainly the 9.0-inch touchscreen, reverse camera, front parking sensors, rear USB ports, full LCD meter and 17-inch wheels. But the X is cheaper, 15 kg lighter and is the one listed with Automatic High Beam.
Pick the Perodua Ativa 1.0 X CVT if you want the same engine, gearbox and core safety kit for less money, and can live without the touchscreen and reverse camera.
Pick the Perodua Ativa 1.0 H CVT if you want the nicer cabin tech and easier parking aids more than you care about the extra RM4,800.
