As you have read, BMW Group Malaysia officially launched the BMW ActiveHybrid 3 and ActiveHybrid 5 sedans at Pavilion KL this morning. The posh shopping mall is hosting the ongoing BMW Innovations Showcase featuring the BMW Vision Connected Drive concept car, which is getting plenty of attention from shoppers. It’s parked at Level 3, if you want to have a closer look.
This isn’t the first time BMW Group Malaysia is bringing in a concept car. Back in January, the Vision EfficientDynamics Concept Car was parked in the exact same place. That one was a hit, thanks to a starring role in Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol. Click here to view that post.
Back to the present, the Vision Connected Drive concept made its world debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. The roadster concept “presents the automobile as a fully integrated part of the networked world in both its design and technological innovations,” says BMW. To us, it looks bold, yet realistic, like a future Z4.

Dear Santa…
Does it remind anyone else of a futuristic James Bond car from the 1960’s? There are probably heat seeking rockets behind those headlights.
