BMW Malaysia has just posted up this pic on its Facebook page. The zoomed in shot of a headlamp comes with the caption “The soul of performance will be unleashed to you very soon.” So this car is coming soon, and it’s an easy one to guess based on the design of the air intakes – it’s the new BMW M6.

The F12/F13 M6 (Coupe and Convertible, no M Power for GranCoupe yet) is powered by M’s twin-turbo 4.4 litre engine with 560 hp and 680 Nm. With a redline of 7,200 rpm, this unit produces 10% higher horsepower and 30% higher torque than the V10 in the previous M6.

0-100 km/h is done in just 4.2 seconds; the heavier Convertible is slower by just a tenth. The gearbox is a seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission with Drivelogic. Power goes solely to the rear axle via an Active M Differential.
