A host of year-end deals are on offer from SAIC Motor Malaysia on the MG4 EV and MG ZS EV, and these are set to bring the best EV deals in town.
This is also the time for celebration of the brand’s 100th anniversary, and so customers may take advantage of these deals that will bring up to 20 months of free instalments worth up to RM26,000, bringing a great opportunity to own a new MG vehicle.
Through this promotion, buyers of the MG ZS EV, MG4 EV Lux and MG4 EV Standard stand to take advantage of free instalments over durations of 20 months, 12 months and eight months valued at RM26,000, RM16,000 and RM8,500 respectively.
The MG ZS EV is on sale in Malaysia in a single variant that brings a 51.1 kWh battery offering 320 km on the WLTP cycle, and feeds energy to a single drive motor with 176 PS and 280 Nm of torque, propelling it from 0-100 km/h in eight seconds.
Charging the MG ZS EV can be done at up to 50 kW DC, which will take 54 minutes for a 10-80% charge, while a 7 kW AC wallbox charger will bring a full charge in seven hours.
Here on the MG ZS EV, you’ll get 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels, keyless entry, push-button start, auto lights and wipers, six-way power-adjustable front seats, leather upholstery, four speakers, a 360-degree camera system, six speakers and stability control. Driver assistance features include AEB, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, lane centring assist, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert and auto high beam.
Meanwhile, the MG4 EV Lux and MG4 EV Standard are both powered by a single rear-mounted motor, the Standard getting 170 PS and 250 Nm that enables a 0-100 km/h run in 7.5 seconds, and its 51 kWh battery brings 350 km of range (WLTP). The Lux gets a more powerful motor at 203 PS, and a larger 64 kWh battery that offers even more range at 435 km.
The MG4 Standard takes up to 117 kW DC for a 10-80% charge in 37 minutes, while the Lux takes up to 135 kW DC for a charge time of 26 minutes. AC charging at 7 kW brings a full charge in 8 hours for the Standard and 8.5 hours for the Lux, the latter getting a 11 kW onboard charger that brings a full charge in 5.1 hours.
Safety-wise, the MG4 comes with six airbags, stability control and driver assists that include autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, lane centring assist, a driver attention alert and auto high beam.
