For 2026, the Mercedes-Benz AMG G-Class carries on unchanged. The current W465 generation launched in 2024, and the Malaysian range remains a single G63 variant with a 3,982 cc, 577 hp Petrol Hybrid/REV powertrain, a wet dual-clutch automatic and five seats. Earlier G-Class news centred on the G500 Final Edition as the last V8 non-AMG G-Class, plus the AMG G63 Grand Edition.

The AMG G-Class is a very expensive way into a Truck/4x4 SUV, costing well above the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Everest and even the regular Mercedes-Benz G-Class.
