SPYSHOTS: Qoros SUV prototype spotted testing

Qoros-suv-2

Chinese-Israeli auto manufacturer, Qoros, has a mystery new SUV in the works. Spotted testing in Europe, the prototype gives almost nothing away as it is heavily camouflaged, but what we can possibly gather is that the new SUV is probably based on the Qoros 3’s modular platform and would likely share the same drivetrain options as well.

Judging from the photos, the overall styling of the car seems to be in line with the current Qoros design language. The front of the car appear to feature head lights similar in style to the ones on the Qoros 3, even sharing the wide honeycomb front grille. The prototype also appears to feature a metal skid plate on its lower front end.

At the rear, the car features LED tail lights that are obviously inspired by the 3, albeit with a more bulbous look. Twin exhaust pipes at each end of the car remain, again taking another styling cue from the Qoros 3. The company currently employs ex-MINI designer Gert Hildebrand, who has been serving as Head of Design since 2011.

Qoros, a relatively new name in the auto industry, stunned everyone when the 3 received not only a five-star Euro NCAP rating but also held the highest score in that year. Since then, the new brand has expanded on its 3 lineup with the Qoros 3 Hatch – a car which was awarded the prestigious Red Dot Award.

Get a life? Palestinians including innocent children are dying each day and denied basic Human Rights in their own homeland. Those who stood up for their rights need to get a life?
Why don’t you get a life and learn to sympathize instead.

The Jews are indeed noble people. But then, the pro-Zionist & Netanyahu’s government, are DEFINITELY not.

They’re not exactly a new carmaker. The Chinese company that makes up one half of the joint-venture is Chery, an established Chinese carmaker (as established as a carmaker from China can be). My point is that they’re not starting from scratch. Chery already makes their own SUV, the Tiggo.

Not saying that they’re not developing a new platform for the upcoming Qoros SUV. What is important is the experience.

Nice car from not truly chinese company. overlooked the fact that it is an israel-china JV. Surely it will be banned here and other arab countries. No thanks to the zionist regime military & land grabbing campaign againts the oppressed Palestinians.

So sad considering how good the car is being engineered.

In the other view angle, someone will said potong is not purely Malaysia since it is JV with Mitsubishi.
And Mitsubishi did supplied the engine to the jet that used in the world war 2 and it kill a lot of ppl..
You may said it not make sense, right?
So don’t be too sensitive and give racial statement too on qoros.

those Japs did not steal somebody else land… did not kill thousands of innocents…

how does that a valid comparison?

Did not kill thousands of innocents? You have no idea what the Japanese did or what they were going to do. If the Axis powers weren’t defeated, there would have been no Malaysia. This land would all be under Japanese control. Do you remember that they occupied this land before? They’re arguably worse than the Israelis.

They perpetrated a lot of oppression, sexual enslavement, exploitation…

There is only no land grab because the land grab is reversed by the Allies’ forces.

Vader is right. Mitsubishi is the main producer (but not the only supplier) of the infamous Zero fighter. Remember their “jet-fighter” grille? Where do you think they drew upon for name’s inspiration? Today Mitsubishi Motor Corporation is one of the better SUV and pick-up truck makers.

All aggressors in wars are bad. The recent aggressors are just more fresh in memory.

OH my goodness. Proton no longer have ties with Mitsubishi, and what does my comment above has to with racism? Let me ask you, are the Japanese still oppressing and occupying other people’s land? What kind of comparison are you trying to make here?

Those who thumbed down are most probably those who don’t understand the real suffering of Palestinians, and who approved Israel as a legal country ‘under attack’ from ‘Hamas terrorist’ (perhaps believing too much in biased Western media). OK please let this off-topic comment stop here.

It seems to most non muslims, palestine is a muslims issues….but who can blame them….the news is played that way….do you guys know that there are arab christians and arab jews lived in palestine with arab muslims long before the zionist invaded palestine and they were living in peace with each others…..so get it through your head….not all arabs are muslims….the palestinian issues is not just about the muslims….if you guys are saying the zionist(eastern european) has the right to be in palestine…..then what about the right of the palestinians (muslims, jews and christians) that has been living and toiling the land for hundreds of years?
Ps: sorry paul…went of tangent there…just want to let it off my chest….
