BMW’s CLS fighter
German car magazine AutoBild reports that BMW is developing a four-door sedan model to go against the Mercedes Benz CLS Coupe and the upcoming Audi A7. The artist’s impression doesn’t seem to indicate a B pillar, so it might have suicide doors. While some sites have predicted that this new car will be the BMW 8-series, others have said it is actually the BMW X6, a crossover coupe with 4WD capabilities. I think the latter is more likely. The car will be based on the BMW X5 platform.

This bimmer is so hot , so much better looking than the cls, it reaks of power AND performance. Its as though Like a jedi master with the cls and audi as its young padawan.

I like the BMW and Audi versions better than the CLS, the CLS looks weird to me; it looked as if it’s a luxury sedan with a sportcar’s rear portion joined to it.

Am I the only one who likes the way the CLS looks, it’s got elegance and class. All the other German uber-saloons look about the same, muscular, square shouldered but a dime a dozen. Too typically German. Including this and that Audi from the previous post. The CLS breaks this mold of German looking saloons and I like it a lot, especially the AMG or Brabus ones.
As a matter of fact, out of Mercedes, BMW and Audi, I like Mercs recent design efforts best. I am unmoved by BMWs ridiculous “Ultimate Driving Machine” hype and think all their recent efforts have been poor.

CLS, at first it looks real strange, but after few times lookin’ at it, I think the CLS is not a bad design also. Actually the CLS is one of a kind I think? but BMW still making its best in their design and the Ultimate Driving Machine hype is not ridiculous for me….

BMW has more than enough in its stable to match Mercedes. Why dont they just draw two more doors on the M6? Ting Tong. M6 actually is design to EAT the CLS. ALIVE!

OHH MY GOD! why BMW always produce a funny, fat,bulky design??? can anybody answer me? i thought its a naza kia van!! hahaa. This ugly BMW X6 or whatever,can NEVER EVER fight CLS or any merz cars! Merz benz still the ultimate and luxurious car. SILVERFISH, all of us here are crazy about CLS looks too! Uniqe, elegant and solid! i can stop laughing looking at BMW ridiculous designs lately! Go Merz, go!!! Our favorite car!
