Heico releases limited edition V70 T6 AWD R-Design

Famous Volvo tuner Heico Sportiv, in partnership with the Swedish marque itself, has released a special edition of the V70 T6 AWD R-Design. Only 100 of these metallic sapphire black cars will be made for the German market priced at a hefty 70,193 euros!

For that princely sum, the output from the 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six has been increased to 325 hp from the standard 304 hp, while maximum torque gets a 20 Nm hike to 460 Nm from 2,100 to 4,200 rpm. Paired to a six-speed auto, this AWD wagon does the benchmark 0-100 sprint in just 5.9 seconds while top speed is the usual electronically limited 250 km/h. Responsible for the increased performance is a recalibrated ECU and a sport exhaust system.

Driving dynamics has been uprated with sport suspension, shock absorbers and springs. The ride is lowered by 30 mm and those big wheels you see are of 19 inches wide with 245/35 Pirelli tyres. The package also includes an extra set of original Volvo R-Design 18-inch wheels with winter tyres.

The standard R-Design package comes with colour-coded door sills and bumpers, roof spoiler, mirror casings in a matte chrome finish and chrome detailing for the fog-lamps. Heico throws in chrome exhaust tips and a special trunk emblem. Inside, Heico adds aluminum door pins and a special edition plaque to the already well specified R-Design spec.

    Looks good…

If you intend to use it as a hearse.

No doubt it looks like a hearse. Targeted for the fast and furious maybe? Or young and reckless?

    Nice! :-)
Reminds me of some toyota corolla wagons in the ’80s that have been treated by their owners to big, wide rims….
… and big noisy exhaust pipes, of course! ;-)
