It’s not often that one sees a Bentley taking the road less travelled, but here it is in the latest Bentayga SUV teaser. The cinematography in this particular video is truly stunning, and the Bentayga looks in its element in a dedicated off-road testing facility in Northern Spain at an altitude of 2,800 m.
It seems to tackle the conditions with aplomb and although it doesn’t seem to have any under body protection in the video, we certainly hope that they think about doing it soon. The video adds that this SUV will have an optimum balance of handling and efficiency.
One can’t help but think that this attempt by Bentley to penetrate the SUV market is all about getting the sales figures up. Will it be as as good as a Range Rover in the rough. Would it outperform a Porsche Cayenne? We’ll have to wait and see.
Reports suggest that pricing for the SUV will likely hover around £150,000 (RM 896,000), and customers can expect a twin-turbo 4.0 litre V8 engine and perhaps an advanced twin-turbo 6.0 litre W12 TSI that produces 600 hp and 900 Nm of torque. A plug-in hybrid variant is also slated to join the line-up in 2017 too.

hahah…why would i buy this car when it looks like cayenne and pricey probably double of cayenne….tak buat study ke bentley?
