VIDEO: Lexus RX F Sport and SI model Hailey Clauson

The Lexus RX already has a video starring Jude Law – for the ladies. Now, it’s the boys turn to have a “better view” of the SUV. This video released by Lexus stars the Lexus RX F Sport and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model, Hailey Clauson.

A little disclaimer though, this video and the following images may not be suitable for work. The clip, which is being shot as a “behind the scenes” one, is actually a photoshoot involving Nino Munoz. It’s a new campaign by Lexus to boost its fashion presence with the help of Clauson, according to Fashion Gone Rogue.

Said campaign called “The Signal” is centred around the swimsuit model. On its landing page, there’s a little description that reads “Be bold. You can follow the crowd or you can choose to stand out. Lexus – once driven, there’s no going back.” Beyond that, well, we’ll just have to wait for the campaign to unfold.

The Lexus RX was launched in Malaysia last year. Available in RX 200t F Sport and RX 350 F Sport trims (among the other variants), the former sports a 2.0 litre turbocharged engine with 235 hp and 350 Nm, while the latter a 3.5 litre V6 unit with 295 hp and 370 Nm of torque.

Said variants feature a more aggressive grille and bumper, multispoke grey wheels, aluminium roof rails and black wing mirror caps. Inside, they both get F Sport trim and leather scuff plates, sport instrument cluster with digital speedo (with G-Ball & Boost meter in the MID), steering paddle shifters and black headlining.

Also, the variants come with an added Sport+ and Customise drive modes, along with Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM). As for the 350 F Sport, additional items include colour head-up display (HUD) and a 15-speaker Mark Levinson audio system and more.

The RX 200t F Sport goes RM422,990, while the RX 350 F Sport is tagged at RM486,300, on-the-road with GST, exluding insurance. For full information of the other four variants, head to CarBase.my.
