By now, we’re no stranger to Topcar’s reimagining of the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe. The Russian tuner’s Inferno styling kit for the SUV is certainly a head turner, more so when made of carbon-fibre. The time has now come to focus on the GLE Coupe’s living space, and Topcar has decided that red crocodile leather will be one of the main materials used.
Yes, the exotic material can be found on nearly every area of the bespoke cabin, including the seats, dashboard, door inserts and centre console. For areas not covered with treated crocodile hide, regular red leather, red Alcantara, wood and carbon-fibre is used instead.
Of course, the exotic material is just one of choices made available to customers. Other options include carbon-fibre, wood and even 24-karat gold accents if money is no object. However, deciding whether such modifications is tasteful or not, is highly dependent on the customer.
