BMW Motorrad Malaysia offers 3 year bike warranty

While most motorcycle manufacturers in Malaysia typically offer a two-year warranty, BMW Motorrad Malaysia goes one up on the competition with a three-year, unlimited mileage warranty on motorcycles registered from 1 January 2019. The warranty applies to motorcycles purchased through authorised BMW Motorrad dealers and covers manufacturing or material defects.

Repairs will be done through authorised BMW Motorrad service partners and will not be charged should it be a valid warranty claim. The three year warranty is also valid worldwide which will be a plus for overland riders and long distance tourers.

In addition, qualifying customers will also receive BMW Motorrad Malaysia’s Road Side Assist programme which takes effect alongside the three-year manufacturing warranty. Under the programme, BMW Motorrad riders are assured of 365-days, 24-hour support in case of emergencies such as road side breakdowns and towing.
