Carro is the authorised dealer for Dongfeng electric vehicles in Singapore, and it’s launching with three very different cars aimed at three very different buyers — the performance-focused 007, the family-friendly VIGO, and the city-sized BOX. Whether you want a sub-four-second sedan or an easy first EV for the daily commute, there’s a Dongfeng in the range that fits.
All three were on display at the roadshow, so this is the chance to compare them side by side rather than spec sheet by spec sheet.
Dongfeng 007 — the performance pick
The 007 is the premium electric sedan of the trio, and its numbers are genuinely quick. The Performance variant puts out 400 kW (544 hp) and 620 Nm, good for 0–100 km/h in 3.9 seconds through an intelligent all-wheel-drive system.
Range is rated at around 565 km from a 73.48 kWh LFP battery, and DC fast charging tops up from 10–80% in about 11 minutes. It’s offered in three trims — Performance, Premium and Prestige — so you can pick outright pace or lean towards everyday refinement. A 19-speaker WANOS surround system rounds out the cabin.
Best for: the buyer who wants a bold, fast EV with real presence.
Dongfeng VIGO — the practical family SUV
The VIGO is the do-everything choice: a versatile electric SUV with a roomy, flexible cabin and a rugged, modern look. It’s sold in a single, all-inclusive variant to keep the decision simple. Expect around 471 km of range from a 51.87 kWh LFP battery, 99 kW (134 hp) and 230 Nm, with a 0–100 km/h time of 9.5 seconds.
Fast charging is quick — roughly 9 minutes to 80% — and it adds genuinely useful touches like a split tailgate and vehicle-to-load (V2L) power.
Best for: families who want space, comfort and everyday usability.
Dongfeng BOX — the easy city EV
The BOX is the compact, fuss-free entry point. Its small footprint, light steering and tidy efficiency make it ideal for city commuting, short trips and tight carparks.
The 42.3 kWh LFP battery is good for about 430 km, with 70 kW (94 hp) on tap and a 540-degree panoramic camera to make parking painless. There’s also a sportier BOX-R variant with black roof, revised exterior styling and black leather upholstery.
Best for: city drivers and first-time EV buyers.
