美国的电动车大厂Tesla在去年推出了搭载更大电池组的Model S P100D,并凭借这辆电动车的2.5秒加速表现一举夺下目前全球加速最快的在售车款。不过,Model S P100D在坐上这个宝座才不到一年之际,另一家美国车厂就打破了它的记录。
Dodge最近在美国纽约国际车展上发布了全新的Challenger SRT Demon,这款美国肌肉车号称从0-60mph的加速只需2.3秒就可完成,比起Model S P100D的2.5秒还要快了0.2秒,是目前全球在售车款中加速表现最强的一个。
首先需要强调的是,虽然Dodge Challenger SRT Demon独占了目前加速最快市售车的宝座,但它并不是史上加速最快的车款。Porsche 918 Spyder(2.2秒)和Ferrari LaFerrari(2.4秒)的加速成绩都比它强,但这些车款目前都已经停产没再公开售卖,因此最快的“在售车”当然就得易主了。
根据原厂公布的数据,这款美式肌肉跑车只需要短短的1秒,就可完成0-30mph(48km/h)的加速,而0-60mph(97km/h)也只需要2.3秒,完全打破了Tesla Model S P100D的2.5秒成绩,而如果要从0开始起跑飙到225km/h的速度也只需要9.65秒。

由于加速表现非常猛爆,加上这款美式肌肉超跑采用的是后轮驱动的设定,并非许多超跑采用的全时四轮驱动,因此在踩尽油门到底加速时,前轮会因为巨大的风阻加上后轮过大的动力驱使,导致前轮很容易离地飘起,就像大家在电影中看到的一样。
这辆Dodge Challenger SRT Demon甚至还快到超过了美国直线加速赛(NHRA)官方机构规定的原厂最高加速上限(上限是9.99秒完成217km/h的加速),因为它从起跑飙速到225km/h只需9.65秒,完全足以秒杀一大趴的原厂超跑。
Dodge Challenger SRT Demon采用一具6.2升的机械增压V8引擎,这具引擎可在爆发出840hp的惊人马力和1,044Nm的超高扭矩,对比Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat的同一具引擎还要多出133hp马力和164Nm扭矩,而这具引擎也被誉为“目前搭载在原厂量产车上最强的V8引擎”。
车坛史上有不少性能卓越的超跑都是以限量生产的方式销售,Dodge Challenger SRT Demon当然也不例外,原厂目前计划只为美国生产3,000辆,而加拿大则会有300辆的配额,下单购车的土豪们也可以参与原厂主办的特别驾驶课程。
